Gymkhana
The Students Gymkhana is the students organization of National Sugar Institute Kanpur. Established in 2014, the Gymkhana seeks to cultivate qualities of leadership amongst students to foster a corporate life and to advance the general cause of the student body of the student body of the Institute.
The Students Gymkhana functions mainly through the Council of Student's Activities, an elected representative body and the elected executives.
The Gymkhana has a say in the policy and decision making bodies of the institute with student related activities. It is responsible for organizing events on day to day basis and also the annual functions relating to cultural, sports and scientific activities. The facilities are also enjoyed by the faculty members creating a better teacher taught contact and relations. The Gymkhana also organises district and zonal sports meet on behalf of "Central Goverment Employees Welfare Co-ordination Committee (CGEWCC)"
