An experimental sugar factory of 100 TCD cane crushing capacity per day is attached to the institute for providing meaningful in plant training to the students under the guidance of their teachers and for providing opportunities to the research staff of the institute to test their results before these are transferred to the sugar factories in the country. In the experimental sugar factory, the students work with their own hands and gain valuable experience . This gives them the confidence to work in the sugar factory.
